KBank Diversity Management

We value difference, harmony and productivity.
KASIKORNBANK (KBank) recognizes and places great importance on the value of organizational diversity. We value, accept and understand the difference of all employee groups, i.e., sexual orientations, ages, educational backgrounds, ethnicity, and cultures, by providing equitable opportunities throughout Human Resources Management Process from recruitment, employment, work permit provision in Thailand, as well as other working conditions and welfare based on the equal basic rights of all employee groups, at both at operational and executive levels. KBank has adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment and all forms of discrimination. To ensure employee understanding on the subject, KBank provides information on discrimination and harassment during the annual Code of Conduct training.

Moreover, KBank has in place a mechanism for accepting internal complaints via employee hotline and email for further investigation and revealing proofs of misconduct to ensure fairness for all involved parties. If wrongdoing is found, a conversation will be held with the relevant employee with the aim of behavioral improvement, and disciplinary action will be taken in accordance with the Bank’s procedures. which may include probation, deduction of wages, demotion and / or pay reduction, or termination of employment, as the case may warrant. In 2021, KBank received no significant complaints* regarding harassment or discriminatory practices.

*Significant complaints are based on:

  1. Disciplinary action: Wrongdoing has occurred, and punishment involves termination of employment without compensation.
  2. Lawsuit: A lawsuit has been filed, and the court has delivered a verdict that wrongdoing has occurred. In this case, any punishment is based on the court’s order
