Insurance Conditions

Qualifications of organizations eligible for group insurance:

  • All types of businesses registered as a corporate entity and consisting of at least ten employees

Qualifications of employees eligible for group insurance

  • The insured employee must be a full-time regular employee aged between 15 and 65 years old with good health on the effective date of the policy
  • The employee must be an insured person in the social welfare system according to the Social Welfare Act

Participation in the insurance plan

  • If the employer pays the full premiums, all eligible employees (100%) must participate the insurance plan
  • If contributions are collected from employees, at least 75% of the eligible employees must participate in the insurance plan

Medical Checkups

  • If the insured amount is less than 400,000 baht, no medical checkup is required
  • If the insured amount is 400,000 baht and above, a health or medical checkup must be declared in the form specified by the company. The underwriting of insurance shall be based on criteria set by the company

Illness or injury before the effective date of the policy:

  • In the first year, the policy shall not cover any existing illness or injury that is continuous and is not completely cured during the 90-day period before the policy's effective date. The company shall provide protection in the next policy year

Premiums

  • The premium amount depends on the insured amount, the protection plan, and the number of employees, while a premium discount is given for businesses with 51 employees and above
