Conditions for earning LINE POINTS
  • Cardholders must open a LINE Pay account and add their LINE POINTS Credit Card to their LINE Pay account before using it. LINE POINTS will be credited for transactions made 1 day after the card is linked; subject to the terms and conditions:
    • Cardholders using their LINE POINTS Credit Card without adding the card to their LINE Pay account, or on the same day they add the card, shall not receive LINE POINTS.
    • In case of a new credit card being issued to replace the original card, due to any reason such as card loss, damage, or replacement, the cardholder must add the new credit card to the LINE Pay account before using the new credit card. This is to ensure that the cardholder is eligible to receive LINE POINTS. The cardholder must first delete the old credit card that was previously registered with LINE Pay.
  • LINE POINTS will be credited the next day after the merchant collects payment from the Bank. Cardholders will receive LINE POINTS for credit card payments made within the following time frame:
    • In case of payments made at stores of KASIKORNBANK, cardholders will receive LINE POINTS on the next day after the merchant confirms the collection of payment for goods/services with the Bank through the Bank's system.
    • In case of payments made at stores of other banks, cardholders will receive LINE POINTS on the next day after KBank receives the instruction to collect payment from the cardholder through the Card Scheme Provider.
  • LINE POINTS to be received shall be in whole numbers; decimals/fractions shall be discarded.
  • Calculation of LINE POINTS to be received will be based on the full payment amount.
  • In case of installment payment, LINE POINTS to be received will be based on the full payment amount.
  • The number of LINE POINTS earned in each billing cycle is limited to 1 percent of the card’s permanent credit limit of that billing cycle (excluding temporary limit requested during the billing cycle).
    Example for calculation of LINE POINTS per billing cycle: permanent credit limit of 100,000 Baht, billing cycle from the 1st to 30th day and due date on the 15th day of following month
    • Spending 100,000 Baht with due date on the 15th day of the following month
      >> 100,000 x 1% = 1,000 LINE POINTS
    • Request increased temporary limit of 20,000 Baht and spend 120,000 Baht
      >> 100,000 x 1% = 1,000 LINE POINTS (additional expenses of 20,000 Baht are not eligible for LINE POINTS)
    • Spend 100,000 Baht and pay card bill on the 26th day of the month and spend additional 50,000 Baht on 28th day of that month
      >> 100,000 x 1% = 1,000 LINE POINTS (additional expenses of 50,000 Baht are not eligible for LINE POINTS)
  • In case of a change in the permanent credit limit of LINE POINTS Credit Card during the billing cycle (request for increase or decrease in credit limit), the Bank will calculate LINE POINTS based on the current permanent credit limit. However, the new permanent credit limit will be used as a reference for calculating LINE POINTS in the next billing cycle.
    Example of calculation:
    • During the current billing cycle from the 1st to 30th date, due date is the 15th day of the following month and the permanent credit limit is 100,000 Baht. If increased temporary credit limit of 50,000 Baht is requested on the 20th day of the month:
      Spending of 150,000 Baht >>> 100,000 Baht x 1% = 1,000 LINE POINTS (additional expenses of 50,000 Baht are not eligible for LINE POINTS).
    • In the next billing cycle (from the first date of the following month):
      Spending of 150,000 Baht >> 150,000 Baht x 1% = 1,500 LINE POINTS
  • Cardholders will be notified of the maximum LINE POINTS they can earn via a transaction notification message from the LINE Wallet Official Account on the LINE app. They can check the actual LINE POINTS they have earned in the LINE POINTS History section of the LINE Pay E-Wallet.
  • LINE POINTS are calculated separately for each card. The spending amount used to calculate LINE POINTS will be counted until the closing date of the credit card statement. The LINE POINTS earned shall be rounded to the whole number, with decimals discarded. Cardholders can use LINE POINTS as a discount instead of cash only after the LINE POINTS have appeared in the cardholder's LINE Pay E-Wallet.
    Notes : In case of return, change, cancellation of payment for goods and/or services, or refund for goods and/or services purchased is requested, in any case, and/or the Bank finds that such transaction violates the conditions set by the Bank, the Bank will proceed to deduct LINE POINTS that the cardholder received from the cardholder's LINE Pay E-Wallet.
    • The number of LINE POINTS redeemed will be deducted; LINE POINTS cannot be transferred, changed into cash or exchanged for rewards.
    • LINE POINTS are offered only to holders of LINE POINTS Credit Cards that are valid as of the date the points are redeemed, and they must be in good standing with payment history conforming to the conditions determined by KBank. LINE POINTS which have been used as discount or redeemed for rewards shall in no event be reinstated.
  • Cardholders will earn LINE POINTS from spending via LINE POINTS Credit Cards for purchase of goods and/or services both in Thailand and other countries. Non-eligible transactions are as follows: Spending at registered merchants located in the European Economic Area (EEA)**, which comprises * Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland (including Öland Island) , France (including French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Reunion, Saint-Barthélemy and Mayotte), Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal (including Azores and Madeira), Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (including Canary Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla), Sweden, United Kingdom (including Gibraltar), Liechtenstein, Iceland (including Svalbard and Jan Mayen). From November 1, 2021, spending at registered merchants located in People’s Republic of China (excluding Special Administrative Regions such as Hong Kong and Macao) shall not be eligible for LINE POINTS.
  • From 1 Jun 2025 onwards, payment in Supermarket (MCC 5333, 5411) via LINE POINTS Credit Card shall not receive LINE POINTS.
  • From February 22, 2022, other non-eligible transactions include:
    • Utility payment (MCC 4900, 4814)*, electricity bill (MEA/PEA), water bill (MWA/PWA) and fixed-line telephone bill, taxes, all types of fees and unit-linked insurance premium, cash advance fee, application fee, annual fee, late payment fee, card replacement fee in case of lost card, penalty and interest
    • All types of insurance, all types of mutual funds, purchase of stocks or investment units, foreign exchange, purchase of foreign banknotes, money order, cashier’s cheque, trading of digital assets (cryptocurrency), funds transfer, cash advance, purchase of stored value card, e-wallet top-up (MCC 4829, 6010, 6011, 6012, 6211, 6051, 6300, 6540)
    • Charitable Social Service Organizations (MCC 8398)
    • Online service and other businesses under MCC 7399 such as online payment service providers and others such as MPay Shopping, PAYSBUY, OOKBEE, LOCK BOX and others / Online business such as payment facilitators and business services (not elsewhere classified) (MCC 7399)
    • Gold, jewelry stores, watches, clocks, and silverware stores (MCC 5944)
    • Fuel dealers, service stations (with or without ancillary services) automated fuel dispensers, fuel oil, wood, coal, and liquefied petroleum, UK PETROL STATIONS-ELECTRONIC HOT FILE (FOR REGIONAL USE ONLY) (MCC 5541, 5542, 5983, 9752, 0022)
    • Hypermarkets, supermarkets and retail stores incorporated in other countries/Discount Stores (MCC 5310) such as Target (USA), ROSS (USA).

  • KBank has the right to adjust and/or reclaim LINE POINTS to ensure that they are in accordance with the conditions set by the Bank. KBank also has the right to reclaim LINE POINTS if the cardholder has been found to have used their own credit card with their own store, or in the event that the cardholder uses the credit card to pay off a debt that did not arise from the payment of goods/ services from a store, or there is no actual payment for goods/ services, or the cardholder's credit card is fraudulently used to pay for goods/ services.
  • In the event that the credit card is canceled, for any reason, KBank may cancel the remaining LINE POINTS earned from the system.
  • The LINE POINTS calculation method is determined by KBank, using data obtained through the Bank's system. KBank may revise the LINE POINTS User Manual and/or cancel or revise all or part of the LINE POINTS Terms and Conditions at its own discretion, in accordance with the established criteria, with notice given at least 30 days in advance. In case of any conflict, problem or dispute regarding the User Manual, as well as the details and conditions of LINE POINTS accumulation, the Bank's decision shall be final.
    • Other terms and conditions of LINE POINTS are as determined by LINE Pay.
