Privacy Policy for Meetings, Seminars and Activities

KASIKORNBANK (KBank), as a controller of personal data, is required to collect, use and / or disclose your personal data upon your registration for attending a meeting, seminar or activity held by KBank. KBank has therefore prepared this Policy to inform you of the objectives and details about the collection, use and / or disclosure of your personal data as well as legal rights in connection with your personal data. Details are as follows.
1. What kinds of personal data are to be collected, used and / or disclosed?
When you have registered to attend a meeting, seminar or activity held by KBank, you are required to provide your personal data to KBank or allow KBank to use your personal data held with KBank, either your own private information such as first and last name, nickname, address, national ID card number, passport number, airline membership number and contact information such as your home address, your workplace, telephone number, email, Line ID, Facebook ID or other information, namely your work title and organization’s name, of which KBank will give notice in advance. This will allow KBank to process your registration and inform you of details and relevant actions.
If you fail to provide said personal information to KBank or do not give consent to KBank to use your personal data as mentioned above, KBank may not allow you to attend the meeting, seminar or activity with KBank, or it may be less convenient for you to attend the meeting, training, seminar or activity held by KBank.
KBank may collect, use or disclose the data on your facial recognition or other biometric data to verify and confirm your identity for the event attendance, health information, e.g. food allergies, congenital disease to use this information when we organize activity for appropriate and your safety. KBank shall request your consent before processing such data.
In addition, KBank may arrange for the recording of audio, photographs and / or video of the event and of the participants for preparing reports and conducting public relations for KBank events. Such audio, photographs and / or video may include your voice, photograph and / or video. If you do not wish to be recorded audio, photographs and / or video, you may request your intention to the organizers. For those who did not request, you may request KBank to not use and / or release the part of the record that includes your voice, photograph and / or video.
2. What are objectives for the collection, use and / or disclosure of your personal data by KBank?
KBank shall process your personal data for the attendance of a meeting, seminar or activity or for any other purposes for which you have given consent, or as permitted by law, with the following objectives:
- For contact, registration as well as identity verification and confirmation for the event attendance
- For provision of the data of participants to participating experts, moderators / hosts and other involved parties for conducting the event
- For survey or analysis to be used for improvement of the event that corresponds to your own or your organization’s demands.
- For preparation of reports, press releases, communications and public relations of KBank events
- For giving notice of information or news, or conducting public relations related to the meeting, seminar or activity, including the offering of benefits that KBank deems relevant to you and your organization, or in which you or your organization may be interested.
3. To whom may the Bank disclose your personal data?
KBank may find it necessary to disclose your personal data to other persons or entities including participating experts, moderators / hosts, organizers, sponsors, owners of venues for meetings, seminars or other activities, online registration service providers, external service providers, and KBank’s agents – for the purpose of arranging meetings, seminars or other activities that you have registered for with KBank, or other purposes for which you have given consent to KBank or to the extent permissible for disclosure under the law.
4. How does the Bank retain your personal data, and for how long?
KBank will retain your personal data for as long as necessary. The duration for personal data retention will last for as long as necessary to process the personal data per the aforementioned purposes, for not more than three years, or a duration as required by law.
For retention of your personal data, KBank will put in place measures to ensure appropriate security for personal data. KBank will erase, destroy or anonymize the personal data when it is no longer necessary or when the period of retention lapses.

As the Data Subject, your rights under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) are as follows:
