If I am interested in selling stock, but lack a trading account, what should I do ?
I hold KBank stock with a face value of Baht 100 per share. Right now, KBank shares bear a face value of Baht 10 per share. What should I do ?
You can swap securities certificates having the face value of Baht 100 per share for an equivalent amount of new ones with the face value of Baht 10 per share by contacting the Thailand Securities Depository Co., Ltd. Required documents for the swap include:

A completed TSD-102 Issuance of New Securities Certificate(s) form, signed by the shareholder;

The old securities certificates with the face value of Baht 100 per share;

A copy of the shareholder’s national ID card, with the shareholder’s signature certifying the copy;

The document certified true by the sub-district or district office to use instead of the original Thai national ID card.

How can I check the total number of shares registered in my name ?
There are two methods for checking the total number of shares in your name:

If you hold a “scripless” stock-trading account with a securities company, you can check the total number of shares with that company.

If you hold securities certificates, you can check the total number of registered shares with the Bank’s Registrar -Thailand Securities Depository Co., Ltd., Tel. +662-0099999.
How do I transfer stock ownership ?

The transferor endorses the securities certificates in the transferor’s signature box.

The transferee endorses the securities certificates in the transferee’s signature box.

The transferee fills out the TSD-101 Registration of Securities Ownership Transfer form, attached with the securities certificates endorsed by both the transferor and transferee. Also attached to the form must be copies of the national ID cards of both the transferor and transferee, together with certifying signatures of the cardholders.

In case of lost securities certificates, what should I do ?
You must complete the TSD-102 Issuance of New Securities Certificate(s) form to issue replacement securities certificates for the lost ones. Required documents include:

A copy of the complaint form filed at a police station identifying the name of the shareholder, the serial number(s) of shares and the total number of shares held. For further details, please contact the Thailand Securities Depository Co., Ltd., at Tel +662-0099999.

A copy of the national ID card of the shareholder, with certifying signature

What should be done if the shareholder has passed away ?
First of all, the shareholder’s heirs must submit their request to the court to appoint an estate administrator. Upon the court ruling appointing the estate administrator, the following documents must be submitted:

A completed TSD-103 Administration of Estate form, signed by the estate administrator;

A copy of the court ruling appointing the estate administrator, with certifying signature of the estate administrator on every page of the copy;

A copy of the death certificate, with certifying signature of the estate administrator;

A copy of the national ID card and house registration certificate of the estate administrator, with certifying signature of the estate administrator;

A copy of the national ID card and house registration certificate of the rightful heir to the securities, with certifying signature of the heir;
-
The document certified true by the sub-district or district office to use instead of the original Thai national ID card;

The original securities certificates with the estate administrator’s signature in the transferor’s signature box, and the rightful heir’s signature in the transferee’s signature box

If I wish to change the details of my shareholder information, what should I do ?
Shareholders can make changes to their personal information, such as changes in title, name, surname, and/or current mailing address, by filling out the TSD-301 Amending Securities Holder Records form, and attaching to it a copy of their national ID card with their certifying signature. (In cases where the changes are in one’s title, name and/or surname, please attach the original securities certificate(s), together with certified copies of evidence issued by related government agencies, identifying the changes in title, name and/or surname, e.g., a marriage certificate, and the original of the document issued by the sub-district or district office to use instead of the original Thai national I.D. card).
