Service Details

How to Apply
  1. Fill in the complete details in the Global Outward Application Form for the customer's benefit to ensure an easy, correct, fast, and on-time overseas fund transfer
  2. Prepare supporting documents according to the purpose of the overseas fund transfer, except in the following cases:
    1. The transfer amount is less than USD 200,000 or equivalent.
    2. The transfer is made under the Bank's specific conditions or at the Bank's discretion.
    Note: After the transaction request has been submitted, the Bank may request additional documents for further verification depending on the transaction details or at the Bank's discretion.
  3. Submit the Outward application form and supporting documents at K-Bank branch or any international trade service centers nationwide
  4. Receive a record of the fund transfer
Conditions
  • Timeline for overseas fund transfer will depend on time zone differences and the operating hours of banks in each country
  • The conversion of Thai baht to a foreign currency will use either the spot rate or the forward rate, as agreed with the bank in each case
  • The transferring party may request modification or cancellation of the money transfer order if the information is found to be faulty; the transferring party is responsible for paying any communication fees or other fees (if applicable)
  • Money transfers that require permission from the Bank of Thailand must secure such permission before a transfer can proceed
  • The bank reserves the right not to provide this service to transferees listed in the prohibition list (OFAC List) or who are otherwise prohibited people identified as representatives of sanctioned countries
  • The Bank may request documents related to dual-use items (DUI) according to the Bank's conditions or discretion as follows:
    1. Documents indicating the Harmonized System Code (HS Code) of the related goods for the Bank’s verification when conducting transactions for goods.
    2. End-User Certificate for importers.
    Note: In the case where the required documents cannot be submitted as specified by the Bank, the Bank reserves the right to decline the overseas fund transfer service.
Fees
  • Charge SHARE/SHAR : The sender is responsible for only KBank’s outward funds transfer charge. Foreign bank charge incurred will be deducted from the transferred amount. The recipient will therefore not receive the funds in full.
  • Charge OUR/DEBT : The sender is responsible for both KBank’s outward funds transfer charge and foreign bank charge incurred. There may be a partial deduction (if any) from the funds received by the recipient to cover any charge assessed by the foreign bank.
  • Charge BENEFICIARY/CRED : The recipient (beneficiary) is responsible for both KBank’s outward funds transfer charge and foreign bank charge incurred. The charges will be deducted from the transferred amount. The recipient will therefore not receive the funds in full.
