Qualifications​

  • Individuals, aged 12 years or above​
    (If the applicant is younger than 12, the account can be opened with the consent of the applicant's parents or guardian)

Thai individuals

  • National ID Card (Smart Card)​
  • Birth certificate or National ID Card and copy of house registration (for parents opening an account for a child)
  • Other National ID Card (Not Smart Card), together with a copy of 2 documents; ​copy of house registration, copy of driving license, copy of government servant / state enterprise employee card or copy of passport)​

Registered Merchant​

  • Copy of valid National ID Card (card front only), together with a copy of house registration if address is not shown or Copy of valid passport (for foreigners) of merchant's owner​
  • Commercial Registration Certificate indicating the merchant's name​
