KBank Reaffirms 15-Year Partnership with Shizuoka Bank

       Ms. Kattiya Indaravijaya (left), CEO of KASIKORNBANK (KBank), welcomed Mr. Hisashi Shibata (right), President and CEO of Shizuoka Financial Group on the occasion of his participation in KBank I Techsauce: EMPOWER THE FUTURE ECONOMY, an Affiliated Program of the 2026 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group, hosted by Thailand.

       ​KBank and Shizuoka Bank have maintained a strong and longstanding partnership since 2011. Initially focused on supporting Japanese clients operating in Thailand, the collaboration has expanded to cover Thailand, Japan, and other Asian markets, encompassing customer referrals, cross-border financing, interbank transactions as well as staff exchanges. The two banks celebrated 15 years of partnership in March 2026 and remain committed to strengthening their collaboration and exploring new business opportunities across the region.
