Human development is a building block of the sustainable development of every country. Children and youths, particularly, must be provided quality basic education based on an ethical foundation. Such educational mechanisms and processes need a strengthened teacher network. Only through this can our children grow and develop, readying themselves to join forces in bringing the country to a better future.
In 2012, KBank collaborated with the Office of the Thailand Research Fund (TRF) in organizing the Cultivation of Wisdom project, with the hope of developing and enriching the thinking process among Thai youths, instilling a positive conscience and adherence to local ways of life. The project implementation includes research-based learning involving communal histories and economies, and creative science to bring about strong and sustainable communities.
Moreover, teachers and students participating in research projects were offered courses relevant to financial skills and knowledge. These courses focused on constructing a knowledge base to be utilized in generating income, which in turn was to help advance the project. Other courses about financial management, with the core subject involving personal financial management for daily life, were also given to participating schools.
