The service, available for all Mastercard credit cards worldwide, is designed to automatically update card details
for recurring payments and/or card-on-file payments to ensure continuity of transactions,
while reducing rejections caused by change in card number and/or card expiration.

Note :

KBank will provide the ABU service only for the participating merchants or service providers that sign up with Mastercard for the ABU program.
KBank will offer the ABU service only to cardholders who apply for the service with the Bank.

What is the key benefit of Mastercard ABU ?

The service offers an improved cardholder experience. With automatic update of card details, payment transactions can be made continually, without interruption.

Can I opt out from Mastercard ABU or opt into the service later ?

Yes. You can opt out from or request to use the service later by contacting the Customer Service Center of card issuers. The request will take effect in the next billing cycle from the date of notification.

What happens if I opt out from this service ?

You can use your KBank Mastercard Credit Card as usual. Recurring and/or card-on-file payment transactions will be affected only when card details are changed.

Will my card details be automatically updated with all merchants for my recurring and/or card-on-file payments ?

No. Your card details will only be updated for the participating merchants that have signed up with Mastercard for the ABU program.

Is there a list of participating merchants ?

Participation in the program is subject to the request of each individual merchant. The number of participating merchants has increased; however, Mastercard does not provide an updated list for card issuers.

Is there any fee for using Mastercard ABU ?

No. ABU is a free service provided to all Mastercard members.
