If your Mobile Banking service has been suspended

According to enhanced Mobile Banking security measures, the Mobile Banking and SIM card must have the same registered passport number.

(Based on the mobile number information of the Mobile Banking user in the bank’s database as of April 30, 2025)

To continue using KBank Mobile Banking, you can proceed with one of the following options:

  • Please contact your mobile network service center to register the SIM card owner using your latest passport number and ensure it matches the passport number registered for your Mobile Banking. Alternatively, you may change the mobile number linked to your KBank Mobile Banking account.
    (The passport number of the SIM card owner must match the passport number registered with KBank Mobile Banking.)

Submit the required documents at any KBank branch (*see document details below).

  1. Document proving ownership of the KBank Mobile Banking account.
  2. Document proving ownership of the SIM Card (e.g., receipt).

  • If you are not using your own name but meet the criteria for an exception where the SIM card owner’s name does not match the KBank Mobile Banking user’s name, (Eligible relationships include family members, legal entities, or individuals under legal care.) please visit a KBank branch to request reactivation under the exception conditions.

that does not match the mobile banking user's name must contact a convenient KBank branch in person

    • Passport / Alien ID card (for foreign nationals)
  2. Company-issued certificate documents must clearly state the following:
    • Employee’s full name
    • Mobile phone number
    • A message: “Permission is granted to use the phone number linked to KBank mobile banking” or confirmation that the juristic person is the owner of the mobile phone number
  3. SIM card ownership documents (any of the following)
    • Tax invoice or telephone bill receipt
    • Service invoice
    • Tax invoice issued by the mobile phone service provider in case of a prepaid SIM

Remark :

  • In case the document stated in item 3 (proof of SIM card ownership) is not available, a certificate confirming that the juristic person is the owner of the SIM card may be used instead. The juristic person needs to contact the mobile phone service provider to request this certificate.
  • In case the juristic person is a government agency, embassy, or international organization that is unable to specify the name of the individual using the SIM card in the document stated in item 2 (Organization-issued certificate), the organization needs to contact the mobile phone service provider to request a certificate confirming its ownership of the SIM card to be used as a substitute document.
