Activities to commemorate the 50th Birthday Anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn

To celebrate the occasions of the 50th Birthday Anniversary of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, and the 30th anniversary of the inauguration of diplomatic relations between Thailand and China, KASIKORNBANK, in cooperation with Mae Fah Luang University and Chulalongkorn University, organized a seminar entitled, “On the Tack towards Sino-Thai Relations”, presided over by HRH on March 28, 2005, at Samannachan Room, KASIKORNBANK, Rat Burana Main Branch. KBank took this opportunity presenting a sum of financial donation of 1 million Baht to HRH for royal charitable purposes. The Bank, in cooperation with the Thai Red Cross Society and Red Cross Society of China, also staged a seminar on “Building Hope for a Better Tomorrow – The Red Cross and Its Humanitarian Mission“, at KASIKORNBANK Headquarters. On this occasion, HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn also delivered a keynote address and attended subsequent discussions of the seminar. In addition, on the occasion of the 50th Birthday Anniversary of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, the Bank presented 1 million Baht to HRH for the Sai Jai Thai Foundation under Royal Patronage. The Bank also supported the activities organized by the Royal Thai Embassy, Beijing, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Sino-Thai relations and in honor of the 50th birthday of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
