Now KBank has a service sending banking information to your mobile phone. In the first phase, you will be advised of all credit or debit card spending transactions.

K-MOBILE BANKING SMS – a novel form of banking service via mobile phone that makes your life easier, more convenient and faster. Simply type a SMS and all your financial transactions can be completed anywhere anytime!

K-MOBILE BANKING SMS enables you to check your account balance and credit card information or conduct mobile
top-up/mobile bill payments and other bill payments for participating merchants. The service can be used with either prepaid or postpaid mobile phones under major mobile networks, including AIS, DTAC, Hutch and True Move. Simply
link your mobile phone to your KBank savings or current account at K-ATM and you will be able to process financial transactions via your mobile phone immediately.

Service Details

Transactions via K-MOBILE BANKING SMS

  1. Balance inquiry
  2. Credit card inquiry
  3. Mobile top-up/mobile bill payment: This service can be used with either prepaid or postpaid mobile phones under major domestic mobile networks, namely AIS, DTAC, Hutch and True Move.
  4. Bill payment: You can pay for goods and services to participating merchants by debiting from savings or current accounts.
Remarks:
1. Service hours for balance inquiry and other financial transactions are between 06.00-22.00 hrs. 
2. Credit card inquiry can be made 24 hours a day.
3. Only one savings/current account or credit card can be linked to your mobile phone number. You can also link your mobile phone number to other accounts as you wish at any K-ATM.
4. The service can be used with either prepaid or postpaid mobile phones under major domestic mobile networks, namely AIS, DTAC, Hutch and True Move.
 

Transaction Limits

        Transaction limits can be established on your own in a range of THB3,000-THB10,000 per month. Upon the application of the service, the default limits will be set at THB3,000 per month which can be later increased up to THB10,000. You can change the limits at K-Contact Center.

Service fee

      Fees for K-MOBILE BANKING SMS service depend on each transaction conducted as per the following details:

Remark
1. Fee is exclusive of VAT.
2. The Bank charges transaction fee only when it is successfully executed and the service user has received a reply/confirmation of transaction.
3. For postpaid mobile phone, the service fee will be included in the statement of the mobile phone network. For prepaid mobile phone, the fee will be debited immediately.
4. The Bank does not charge application and annual fees. (The Bank reserves the right to change the service fee as it deems appropriate at any time. The Bank will inform such change to service users in advance or post the announcement at branch offices and the Bank’s website.)

 

Terms and Conditions of K-Mobile Banking SMS Service

 This agreement is made between KASIKORNBANK Public Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as “KBank”) and the person to whom KBank has approved to provide K-MOBILE BANKING SMS Service (hereinafter referred to as the “User”).

1. KBank provides the K-MOBILE BANKING SMS Service only to a person of legal age and reserves the right to consider each applicant based on KBank criteria and procedures.
2. The User can apply for the Service via an ATM by using an ATM card, K-Debit Card or K-Credit Card, together with its PIN from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., or the User may apply via the K-Contact Center at Tel. 0 2888 8800 by contacting KBank’s staff throughout 24 hours or via other channels to be agreed by KBank in the future.
3. The User applying for the Service via K-ATM can perform such transactions as account balance inquiry and credit card information inquiry, mobile phone top-up, bill payments, etc.
4. The User applying for the Service via K-Contact Center cannot perform mobile phone top-up and bill payments (except when the User applies for more service functions via K-ATM or other channels to be agreed by KBank in the future).
5. The User must use a mobile phone enrolled in AIS, dtac or TrueMove pre-paid or post-paid service or mobile network that will be announced in the future. Service registration will be completed only when the User receives an SMS confirming approval of the K-MOBILE BANKING SMS Service request sent to the User’s registered phone number.
6. All financial and accounting information including that related to mobile top-up and bill payment or any other information provided by KBank via SMS as part of this Service shall be kept confidentially with own responsibility; the User shall not divulge it to others.
7. KBank and the mobile service operators designate the Service fees (excluding VAT) at the rate in accordance with KBank’s policy. The User shall be charged the Service fees when receiving KBank’s confirmation via SMS as soon as the transaction is completed. For post-paid service, the fees are included in the bill issued by the relevant mobile network operator. For pre-paid, the fees shall be debited immediately upon when each transaction is made. Neither application nor annual fee is charged. However, KBank reserves the right to change service fees as KBank deems appropriate with prior notice or the posting of announcements at KBank branch premises, as well as on the KBank website (www.kasikornbank.com).
8. The User agrees to pay SMS fees arising from the use of K-MOBILE BANKING SMS, aside from payment of use of mobile phone air-time to mobile network operator. When using post-paid mobile phone service, the User can check such charges in the User’s monthly statement issued by the mobile network operator. With pre-paid service, the User can check such charges by contacting the mobile network operator.
9. Any transaction such as balance inquiry, credit card information inquiry, mobile top-up or bill payments that has been conducted via K-MOBILE BANKING SMS initiated by the User or other persons, with or without the User’s consent, shall be deemed as complete and valid after a confirmation SMS has been sent by KBank to the User’s mobile phone; the User cannot cancel or change the transaction thereafter. Such transaction shall be binding upon the User as if it were conducted by the User; the User shall be liable for all obligations arising out of such transaction.
10. The K-MOBILE BANKING SMS Service is provided to facilitate the User in enquiry of financial and accounting information including payment of mobile phone service charges and other bill payments as well as other information. KBank shall not be responsible for any mistakes and/or problems caused by mobile network operators, either in errors, mistakes, delays or damages arising from process or method of sending SMS by mobile network operators to the User.

The User may cancel the K-MOBILE BANKING SMS via K-ATM or K-Contact Center at Tel. 0 2888 8800, or other channels to be  agreed by KBank in the future. A cancellation will be completed when the User receives an SMS confirming the Service cancellation, and KBank shall proceed with the cancellation immediately.

12. If the User finds any error in the Service, or if there is any reason to cancel the Service, the User shall promptly contact KBank via K-Contact Center at Tel. 02-888-8800.
 After KBank has been notified by the User of the intent to cancel Service, KBank will cancel the Service within a period specified by KBank. The User shall be liable for actions and transactions undertaken prior to the end of such period of cancellation. The User must inform KBank of the date, time, related parties, transaction amount and details, as well as any other information that KBank may request. KBank will investigate and amend any errors (where found) in compliance with governmental and/or Bank of Thailand’s regulations within 30 (Thirty) days after the date KBank receives all required information. KBank shall notify the User of the result of such investigation within 7 (Seven) days after the date KBank obtains the result; KBank reserves the right to ignore any request that is in contradiction with the rules and regulations of the government and/or Bank of Thailand. Moreover, if there is a loss wherein KBank is required to compensate the User, KBank shall credit that amount to the User’s account within 7 (Seven) days after the date KBank finds the error.
13.

The User acknowledges that the Service and related operations – including service channels – provided by KBank are for the convenience of the User.  KBank agrees to be responsible for any damage arising out of the use of the Service if KBank fails to comply with the terms and conditions as specified herein, except where:

13.1   The User has insufficient funds in the User’s account.
13.2   The User has no credit line or the User’s credit line is revoked.
13.3   Funds transfer and/or payment amount exceeds the User’s approved credit limit.
13.4   The User is the party to pending litigation.
13.5   KBank has already informed the User of a Service malfunction prior to, or while conducting funds transfer or payment transaction.
13.6  The User has entered the required information completely and correctly, and has confirmed the transfer and/or payment.
13.7   The User has breached the conditions of agreement with KBank and/or there is a force majeure.
13.8   KBank fails to comply with an instruction of cancellation notified by the User in accordance with the procedures and conditions of this agreement.
13.9   A wrongfully conducted transaction has been committed, but not by the User’s fault.
14. If an interbank money transfer is requested by the User, or the recipient fails to receive the transferred amount, KBank reserves the right to evaluate each individual case for the User or the recipient, as KBank deems appropriate..
15. If any damage arises from equipment or tool(s) employed by the User, or due to mobile network system, KBank reserves the right to be liable for the User or the recipient.
16. If KBank is required to disclose financial information or transactions related to the use of the Service by any governmental or competent authorities per legal provisions, orders or regulations, the User agrees to allow KBank to disclose such information and/or (if requested) prepare any report on relevant information and/or financial transactions of the User for submission to those authorities.
17. KBank reserves the right to alter any terms or conditions stated herein as KBank deems appropriate, as well as the right to terminate the Service wholly or in part, or  suspend the Service to any User at any time with prior notice to the User at least 30 (thirty) days in advance, or as required by law.
18. Any delay or omission of KBank in exercising the rights under the law, or per any terms or conditions including those stated in the Service handbook or KBank’s IVR system, shall not be construed as  a waiver of such KBank’s rights, or as giving the User consent to perform any act.
19. Any correspondence, letter or notice sent by KBank to the User’s specified address shall be deemed to have been duly delivered; such address is considered valid. If the User changes its address, the User shall immediately inform KBank in writing of such change.
20. The User hereby authorizes KBank, any of KASIKORNBANKGROUP, and any of KBank’s assignees to use the User’s information for the purpose of offering to the User its new/special products, services, special offers and/or for any other purposes.

Qualification of Applicant

  1. Must be individual having a savings/current account or credit card of KBank
  2. Must use either pre-paid or post-paid mobile phone using DTAC, AIS, True Move or Hutch networks.

Application Process

Application can be made at any K-ATM by following these steps:
  1. Select menu “Service application/charity/others”
  2. Select menu “Mobile phone service application”
  3. Select menu “K-MOBILE BANKING SMS” (banking services via mobile phone)
  4. Select menu “Application for K-MOBILE BANKING SMS”
  5. Select the account used with K-MOBILE BANKING SMS
  6. Enter mobile phone number to be used with the service and then press OK/correct.
  7. Read terms and conditions of the application for K-MOBILE BANKING SMS. Check the mobile phone number and then press “OK”
  8. Receive the application result
  9. Get the transaction record
  10. Receive an SMS confirmation of your application

       Your life will become easier, more convenient and faster when all your financial transactions can be processed via mobile phone.
