Key Features

K-MOBILE BANKING PLUS is a complete mobile phone banking service available on all mobile phone networks * through GPRS/EDGE/3G. Customers only need to download K-MOBILE BANKING PLUS onto their respective mobile phones and then they can register via K-ATM in order to connect their savings deposit / current deposit accounts with the chosen mobile number in order to use the service. By doing so, customers can easily and safely complete their financial transactions anywhere.

* This refers to the main mobile phone networks (AIS, Dtac and Truemove)

The K-MOBILE BANKING PLUS service will be available on Hutch phone network soon.

Service Details

The K-MOBILE BANKING PLUS Service enables the following transactions:

  • Balance Inquiry:  Outstanding balance of your account or balance on your linked credit card
  • Funds Transfer: Real-time other account funds transfer or interbank funds transfer
  • Mobile Top-Up:  For yourself and others within the same or other mobile networks
  • Bill Payment:  To participating merchants

Transaction Limits

You can make financial transactions with a daily limit of 500,000 Baht as follows:

  1. Up to 100,000 Baht for other account funds transfer, interbank funds transfer, bill payments and mobile top-up
  2. Up to 500,000 Baht for funds transfer between linked accounts

How To Apply

Application Process

Eligibility

  • Users must have an ATM, debit or credit card linked to a savings or current account.
  • Users’ mobile phone must accommodate Java MIDP, version 2.0. (Most mobile phones are now Java-enabled.)
  • Users’ mobile phone must accommodate GPRS/EDGE/3G for Internet connectivity.

Application Process
1. Check and set GPRS/EDGE/3G on your mobile phone:

2. Download and install the K-MOBILE BANKING PLUS program via IVR by sending to *4288888. You will then receive an SMS for downloading the program. (The program will be saved automatically in the menu, which varies between each mobile phone and model.)

3. Access the K-MOBILE BANKING PLUS program and follow the steps below:
   3.1 Choose “K-Mobile Banking.”     
   3.2 Choose “Agree” to apply for the service.
   3.3 Receive One-Time Password (OTP).

 

One-Time Password (OTP) is an initial six-digit password for activating the service at any K-ATM.

*The OTP will expire after 30 minutes. In case of OTP expiration or loss, you can ask for up to five new passwords a day by following the above steps.


4. Activate the service via K-ATM by following the steps below:
 1.) Choose “Apply for/Change the service/Donate/Others.”    2.) Choose “Apply for/Change the mobile phone service”
     
 3.) Choose “K-MOBILE BANKING PLUS”    4.) Choose “Apply for K-MOBILE BANKING PLUS”
     
 5.) Enter your 10-digit mobile phone number    6.) Enter your six-digit One-Time Password (OTP), received via SMS
     
  7.) Enter a new six-digit password    8.) Retype your new six-digit password to confirm
     
 9.) Choose “Agree” in order to accept the conditions of service use    10.) The screen displays, “The service application will be completed after you receive a confirming SMS”
     
 11.) The screen displays, “Application completed!” (This signals the end of the application process via K-ATM. The user will then wait for a confirming SMS.)
