The service confirms a money transfer at the receiver’s mobile phone following money transfers at KBank ATMs.

 
Key Features

 

  • To add confidence and provide convenience for customers using the money transfer service at KBank ATMs, with SMS confirmation immediately sent directly from the Bank.
  • To save the time and expense of sending money transfer confirmation to receivers via phone or fax.
  • To save time and costs of balance verification from passbook update, ATMs, mobile phone banking or internet banking.
  • To increase accuracy and precision in identifying transferors, particularly in cases of receiving the same amount of money from multiple transferors.
Service Details
 
  • To be eligible for the money transfer service at KBank ATM with SMS confirmation, either the transferor or receiver account must be a KBank account.
  • The service is available for both prepaid and postpaid mobile phones of all operators that offer SMS services.
  • After a standard money transfer transaction, a message asking whether or not to send an SMS will appear on the screen:
       1. Choose “Send SMS”
       2. Enter the Receiver’s Mobile Phone No. 
       3. Enter the reference number of transferor (not over 10 digits) or telephone number
       4. Choose language of SMS (Thai/English) 
  • Details that customers will receive are as follows: 
        -  The receiver’s bank name and account number
        -  Transferred amount
        -  Transferor’s mobile phone number or reference number




    Example of Messages

    In case mobile phone number or reference number of transferor is provided:

     "Account KBank 0472123456 received THB 2,500.00 via K-ATM from 0815619999"


    In case mobile phone number or reference number of transferor is not provided:

     "Account SCIB 1012123456 received THB 2,500.00 via K-ATM"


Service Fees

      The Bank does not charge a fee for the service. (However, the Bank reserves the right to revise fees as we see fit.)

Qualification of applicants
  • Must hold ATM card of KBank or other banks to transfer money at a KBank ATM

Application process
  • Holders of an ATM, debit, or credit card that is linked with a deposit account of KBank or another bank can transfer money at a KBank ATM and choose to send an SMS to the receiver’s mobile phone. The Bank will immediately send details of the money transfer to the mobile phone number provided by the transferor.
