Product Details

Terms and Conditions


1. The applicant has to submit a global outward application with the required documents.
2. The application and required documents can be submitted to any KBank branch or the Corporate & SME Service Center.
3. For outward remittances of at least USD50,000 or the equivalent in other currencies, the recipient is required to submit a Foreign Exchange Transaction form.
4. Some types of Global Outward funds transfers require approval from the BOT before being sent abroad.
5. For the conversion of Baht into other foreign currencies, KBank will apply the spot or forward rate according to the agreement.
6.KBank will transfer the funds to the foreign country once informed that the account debiting of the sender who makes an instruction can be undertaken.
7. The sender may correct or cancels a transfer instruction erroneously sent, but the sender shall be responsible for telecommunication fees and/or other relevant expenses (if any).
8. The time required for a funds transfer differs with the time zone being transferred to and the business hours of commercial banks in each country.

For payments of expenses with bill, such as compensation, insurance premium (excluding products), construction fees, remunerations for specialists and directors, etc.

- Relevant documents or bill requesting payment from a beneficiary residing in foreign country, such as agreements or bills

 

Educational Fees

For payments of education-related expenses of students, such as tuition fees, accommodation expenses, vehicle and transportation expenses and other personal expenses

- Certificates issued by the educational institute and/or

- Certificates issued by the Office of Civil Service Commission (OCSC) 

Traveling Expenses

 

 

For payments of expenses in traveling abroad

Repatriation of Foreigner

For the remittance of savings of foreigners working in Thailand

- Financial Certification issued by employers

For repatriation of funds that a person previously brought into Thailand from abroad 

Evidence indicating the inward remittance of money:

- In case the amount of foreign currency is less than USD 50,000 or equivalent at market rate, the credit advice (notice of inward remittance) shall be required.

- In case the amount of foreign currency is at least USD 50,000 or equivalent at market rate, a copy of the Foreign Exchange Transaction Form (for inward money transfer) shall be required.

-Evidence indicating that the remittance belongs to the foreigner, such as a copy of the passbook or account statement.

 Other

For remittance to family members or relatives who are permanent residents abroad

- Official evidence indicating that such person has been allowed to stay permanently in such country

- Evidence indicating the family relationship such as a list of family members

For remittance of funds belonging to Thais who are permanent residents abroad

- Official evidence indicating that such person has been allowed to stay permanently in such country, and

- Evidence indicating that the funds to be sent belong to the recipient, such as certified bank statement

For remittance of inheritance to a beneficiary who is a permanent resident abroad

- Official evidence indicating that such person has been allowed to stay permanently in such country, and

- Evidence of inheritance, such as a copy of the will or a letter from the administrator of the estate appointed by the court, which indicates the allocation of the inheritance

For donation to public abroad

• Documents relating to the donation, such as the request from the charitable organization

For purchase of immovable property abroad

 

- Letter explaining the necessity of the transfer, and

- Details of the immovable property

For remittance of proceeds from the sale of an immovable property to a person abroad

- Purchase and sale agreement

- Evidence indicating transfer of ownership in case of selling

 

Investment in Securities

 

For remittance of dividends

- Evidence of a dividend payment, such as notice of dividend payment issued by a company

For repatriation of investment funds in shares, warrants, or investment units

 

-  Evidence of sale or transfer of such investment funds, or evidence of ownership of investment units

 

For repatriation of investment in financial instruments such as bonds, debentures, promissory notes, or bills of exchange

 

-  Evidence of ownership in case of holding such financial instruments until maturity or early redemption

- Evidence indicating transfer of ownership in case of selling such financial instruments to other persons

For repatriation of investment in mutual fund due to the reduction of mutual fund’s capital where such funds are not raised or borrowed in the country directly or indirectly

-  Evidence indicating inward remittance of funds for purchase of an investment unit.

- In case the amount of foreign currency is less than USD50,000 or equivalent at market rate and in case of Baht, the credit advice (notice of inward remittance) shall be required.

- In case the amount of foreign currency is at least USD 50,000 or equivalent at market rate, a Foreign Exchange Transaction Form (for inward money transfer) shall be required.

- Meeting resolution of the mutual fund regarding the capital reduction for investment unit holders,

- Mutual fund’s certified financial statements,

- Details of net asset value of the mutual fund after the capital reduction, and

- Evidence indicating sources of funds
