Qualifications of students

- Thai nationality
- Having passed entrance examination of educational institution or studying in educational institution accredited by the Ministry of Education

Qualifications of borrowers
|
- Thai nationality
- Borrowers must be students or their relatives, or those having legal relationship with students (proof is required).
- Age: 22 years and above; the borrower’s age plus the duration of the loan must not exceed 60 years.
- Regular monthly income: 15,000 Baht or higher
- Existing monthly installment payment must not exceed 40 percent of the borrower’s monthly income.
- Years of work
- For fixed-income earners, they must have worked for at least one year.
- For self-employed persons, they must have been in business for at least two years.

Qualifications of guarantors
|
- Thai nationality
- Government officials with position classification level 5 or above, or military officers at the rank of Major or higher, or equivalent, having a salary of 15,000 Baht or above, or
- Company officials with a salary of 20,000 Baht or higher, or
- Self-employed persons of which guarantor’s income must be 2.5 times higher than the monthly installment amount
- Fixed-line telephone number available (both home and office)

Loan limits |
|
Loan is granted at 80 percent of expenses per course/curricula, and up to 750,000 Baht. Loan withdrawal shall be made with the presentation of receipt on a case-by-case basis according to the actual expenses based on the receipt date. The Bank shall transfer the amount to the borrower’s savings account accordingly. |

- Application form for K-Personal Loan for Education
- Copy of detailed expenses throughout the course issued by the educational institution (photocopy or download from the Internet), or related documents issued by the educational institution
- Original letter of student status issued by the educational institution not more than one month ago
- Copy of national ID card
- House registration showing address and name of home’s owner
- Copy of name/surname change certificate (if applicable)
- Copy of statement of account for the past six months
- Copy of the first page of KBank savings passbook for money transfer

|
- Original salary certificate letter or salary slip (not more than one month old), or a copy of a Tax Return form which has been acknowledged by the Revenue Department

For self-employed persons
|
- Copy of tax ID card (for proprietors)
- Copy of Company Registration Certificate/Commercial Registration
- A certificate of shareholders’ list not more than six months old (for limited liability company)

For guarantor
|
- Copy of national ID card or government official card/state enterprise employee card
- House registration showing address and name of home’s owner
- Copy of name/surname change certificate (if applicable)
- Copy of statement of account for the past six months
